Introduction

The vMovieDB application is a movie collection manager for the GNOME desktop.

vMovieDB provides the following features:

  • Play selected movie with your favorite video player.

  • Manage various types of information for your movies such as: title, year, media type, quality, subtitles, location, genre, comment and movie image.

  • Movie rating.

  • Movie tags.

  • Movie comment.

  • Movie serch. Local and on ImDB.com.

  • Export your movies to html or text document.

Note

vMovieDB also comes with additional functionalities such as Genre Editor and Movie Image Viewer.

vMovieDB has a fast and light database based on XML.
