You can start vMovieDB in the following ways:
Choose
->To start vMovieDB from a command line, type the following command, then press Return:
vmoviedb
To view other command line options that are available, type vmoviedb --help, then press Return.
When you start vMovieDB, the following window is displayed.

Information presented in the View Pane as "N/A" means that the information is not available.
The movie area provide access to details about the currently selected movie. When no movie is selected this area is inactive. When movie is selected, the movie title, the movie genre, the tags under wich selected movie is listed, the movie database record, the movie image, the movie comment and the movie location are active.
You can show or hide the movie area by selecting F9 key.
-> or pressingClicking on the movie title will open your default web browser and take you to the ImDB.com website, presenting you with information about the selected movie.
Clicking on the movie genre will show you all movies listed under the same genre as the currently selected movie. To display all movies again click on the button.
Clicking on some of the active movie tags will show you all movie listed under the selected tag.
When you click on active movie tag the tag information box (Figure 3, “Tag Information Box”) is displayed under the toolbar. To display all movies again close the box by clicking button.
Clicking on the movie image will start the Movie Image Viewer and will display the movie image in it's original size.
